The recording of demo 3 is in process!
Yeah, as we type this - drummer Tobben (aka Golden T, Golden Spider, Gollum, Gordon, Gudrun - you name it) is recording the drums for the last part of trilogy one. After having to push the recording date forward a month it feels great to finally be doing it. We have longed to close this chapter of the first trilogy, to kind of tie everything together (no shit?) before moving into trilogy 2 territory. After Tobben is done with his drums it’s about time for K to put down the guitars in his home studio with his new, fantastic equipment that was purchased some time ago. It feels nice to be able to do that, for sure. We will keep you updated on the process as soon as something happens but for now we want you to spread the word about Torture’s coming deed.
Mr Swanö is ready to put his magic into the mix as soon as we have completed everything, but we guess we need to have J do his vocals and bass first after the guitars before we can hand over anything to Dan. Or at least that’s how it feels. And no, we don’t even know why we brought that up at this early stage. Pretend you didn’t read it.
So, you’ll have to hang in here for a little longer (actually, you are allowed to go away from the computer if you feel like it, just make sure to check in often) before we will announce the title of the third demo, as well as the cover and songtitles bla bla bla…
And we have more shit to announce when the time is right, but for now our mouths are sewn shut.

Updates on merch and demo 3!
The recordings of the drums for demo 3 have been pushed forward a week and will now take place on October 16th. All the tunes are ready and we are jacked up as fucken cannibals in front of Metallica (what?) to record this last part of the first trilogy. You will definitely dig the death metal soup we are cooking up this time. But this third demo is hardly the only thing we wanna announce, we just have to wait a little with the rest of the news, for various reasons… Stay tuned to our forums and this site for all the torturous news you can possibly handle.
Besides that, here comes the updated list of what we have as far as merchandise go at the moment. Click this link to see the shirts we have ion stock until we decide to reprint any of these, or until we do a completely new design. We ask you to buy this shit off of us so we can brag about having an empty warehouse where we used to have shirts. Spread the word and support Torture Division’s cause of giving you free death metal (the worl’ds best one actually) by purchasing one or two of these bastards.

Demo 3 to be recorded now!
“Now” might be stretching shit, but hey… Tobben, aka Golden Spider, aka Golden T, aka Grindmaster Flesh, will put down his drums starting (and ending) on October 2nd. Once again (as on “We bring upon thee” Tobben will be using the handjobs and services of Mats at www.senselessrecordings.se for his skinbashing, something that worked really well the last time around. After that the files will be shipped to The Lord, aka Golden K, aka Riffmeister Philipson for him to record some mighty fine Xiphos guitars. After that it’s time for Jörgen, aka J, aka Kråny, aka Gotlands Bill Gates to put down his monstrous vocals and bass in Stockholm with Joppe of Backdraft in his studio. Things are moving forward and this third chapter in the first trilogy will rock your socks off. Or something. Expect nothing but sheer brutality, insane groove and perhaps some death metal. When the time is right we will reveal the song titles as well as the name of the demo. Yeah, we know, that’s a fucken nice thing to do.

All the tunes completed for demo 3!
We decided to sit down and compose the three last songs for the third demo in this first trilogy, and so we did. You like d-beats, blastbeats, groove, heaviness and full-on death metal - the way only we can create it? You will get it on this demo as well. And you will once again get it for free as soon as we have recorded it at this very site. What we ask of you in return is to buy our new t-shirt (the money will go into our recordings, and the occasional beer/fix, as always). All the titles are set for the coming demo but we’ll wait a while with announcing those. We will once again record the drums in Tobben’s hometown Karlstad (like on the previous 2 demos), the guitars will be tracked in The Lord’s homestudio in Örebro and J will do his bass and vocals in Stockholm. After that it will be shipped to our beloved Dan Swanö for another excellent mix. We can only hope he will provide us with another production as crushing as the one on “We bring upon thee”. But since we know Dan, he’ll prolly make it even more brutal this time around. Anyways, we have set early October as the month when we will start recording this third demo, scheduled for an early November release if everything goes as planned.
Also, it looks like we might have a few gigs coming up but we can’t announce anything just yet since a few things need to be cleared first.
As you can see, alot of shit is happening within our camp and we really look forward to record 3 more tunes of the world’s best death metal.

We have some stuff in the making…
…so you better keep an eye on our forums and at this place, coz quite a bunch of stuff will be announced as soon as we possibly can. You all know that the third demo (the last part in this first trilogy) is on the way, but there’s more shit to come, believe us. If everything goes as planned we think that quite a few of you bastards will be satisifed. Just stick around and spread the word about everything Torture Division in the meantime.
Download the demos in the “Downloadgraphy” section, make copies of them, print the covers, spread them to everyone you know. Also, check the merch section since there are still a few shirts that we wanna get rid of.
