Making ourselves ready for the upcoming gigs!
Oh yes, 2009… another year in the name of Torture. Hope you guys had some nice holidays and all, not that we give a shit but it sounds nice to put it like that. We just thought we should let you know that we are now gearing up for the 2 coming gigs we have booked in February, 2009. Yeah, we know… It’s like 1 and a half month until those happens but it’s always great to have some update from your fave band, right? First off we have the gig at the Close Up Boat coming up. You can find all the details needed at www.closeupmagazine.net but let us just inform you that we play the 13th of February around 13:40. Make sure to be there, drunk and full of hell, and make this gig something we can always remember with a huge smile. After that we go to Umeå, Sweden and the fantastic House Of Metal festival where we will play at the 27th of February. Check out their site to know exactly when we enter the stage coz we aren’t sure about that yet, haha… We are looking forward so much to these 2 gigs it’s not even sane. We might also have a third gig coming up but it’s too early to reveal anything about that right now so just stay tuned.
We ended 2008 with a bang considering we gave you a killer x-mas single and the third chapter in our first trilogy. You can find everything for free download at this site. 2009 will most probably give you trilogy number 2 coz that’s what we are aiming for. More free music in the shape of the world’s best death metal. We know, we know… we are truly fantastic.
So, we are looking forward to see you on at the upcoming gigs. In the meantime; torture each other and have a nice start of the new year. Ok then, have a nice 2009 in its entirety.

X-mas single out now!
We told you there would be a Christmas 7 inch available for you guys from your fave band, remember? Here it is. Another present for you after handing out the fantastic display of the world’s best death metal that was “Our infernal torture”, here comes “Suffer the shitmass”. We talked about this single over at our forums, but let’s remind you lot:
“A Japanese guy named Gai Er de Man contacted us some time ago and offered to print 4 copies of a Torture Division Christmas 7″ single. Ofcourse we have said yes to this. The band gets one copy each and Gai Er de Man get’s the fourth and final copy. This single will unfortunately not be for sale but we will make it available for download at www.torturedivision.net as always.”

With endless wrath we bring upon thee… OUR INFERNAL TORTURE!
There you go, the last part of trilogy one is now available, neatly entitled “Our infernal torture“. You will find it in the “Downloadgraphy” section of this site. 3 tracks of the world’s best death metal - all recorded for the purpose of us loving our death metal and handing it out to you for free. We know, we are the best - thank you. Once again we wanna thank Dan Swanö, the official Torture Division mixing sponsor, for giving us an incredibly heavy sound. Dan really is the fucken man. Just listen to what we have cooked up and try keeping your speakers from blowing up. It’s THAT fucken heavy.
Before we continue, let us state one thing: We believe we just accomplished some kind of a world record, prolly qualifying us for the Guinness Book Of Fuckitall. Some 3 hours ago we completed the mixing and mastering of this demo and you guys have it NOW. 3 fucken hours ago, people. Applaud us, dammit! We actually planned to give you guys this fantastic piece of death metal art earlier this week but since we discovered some digital errors we had to wait for Dan to have the time to fix those. And Dan is one busy fucken hero, that’s for sure. But now you have it.
Onwards…
We started this band with the intention of handing everything out for free and we’ll continue to do just that. We’ll now let you in on a secret… We had some money from the last print of t-shirts left so we decided to give the guys who helped us record this demo what was left cash-wise. How fucken noble is that? They always helped us out for free and now we could give back huge chunks of money to them (if you believe that “huge chunks” thing you are retarded). So thanx for buying our merch and helping us financing this recording.
Enough bullshit now.
Download the demo (no, we don’t sell any physical copies - you have the goddamn covers and everything available for download, print the fucken demo(s) yourself) and spread it on torrent sites, Rapidshare or whatever (read what’s written at the bottom of this page). Just get the fucken thing out there. Have people discover the world’s best fucken death metal. Do the same with our 2 previous demos, thank you. After that - support us by buying our coming merchandise. All the money we get from that go straight into the recording of the first part of the next trilogy and future shirts. Just as we have done all along. No need to change a winning concept, right?
We also have a few gigs coming up. First of we will destroy the Close Up Boat (info at www.closeupmagazine.net) just to quickly take our private jet after that, to Umeå and the House Of Metal festival (www.houseofmetal.se). We look forward to both these gigs so much it’s not even sane. We haven’t played live since the successful MetalTown gig earlier this year and really can’t wait to bring our death metal to the audiences again. Be fucken ready coz we will crush.
Oh, and you can also listen to the music we offer at Ubetoo. If you listen to us thru that site we might eventually get a dollar or two and it will cost you absolutely nothing.
Now we have given you a full album. 9 songs. Put them in any order you want and blast thru 9 tunes of the world’s best death metal. You can even put the 3 demo covers next to each other and you’ll see some magic. 2008 is completed, now we move into 2009 and the next trilogy.
But for now, enjoy the new fantastic demo and make sure to look at this site around x-mas, coz you haven’t forgotten that we have a 7 inch coming out then, huh? One cover (a WASP tune actually) and a brand new song coming up as if this demo wasn’t enough. Just keep yer eyes on this site and at our forums and make sure to make your voice heard about this new demo. And the 7 inch when it’s released, ofcourse.

Demo 3 ready to be mixed!
Fuck yes, all the vocals are done now and J’s done a killer job. A few first takes and a few overdubs, that’s all that was needed. It’s hard to find time to do vocals when the house is full of kids but all J needed was 2 evenings and there we go; FUCKEN DONE! Now those files will be sent over to The Lord and after that - say hello to Mr. Dan Swanö. That guy is one busy fucker though so we just wanna say that we really appreciate that he’s squeezing us in in between the jobs that actually pay him, just to make sure Torture Division gets a ace production.
So, bastards… The last part of trilogy one is coming now… And don’t forget that the Christmas single is about to crash down on you as well in a bit. This will be a fantastically nice end to your year. You can thank us later.

Turning down record labels…
We just have to show you this that we got over MySpace. Some assclowns approached us, obviously not knowing shit about Torture Division, offering us to be on a compilation CD. Even having the balls to let us PAY to be included. This is mighty interesting since we have been turning down record labels since day one. You know this is a part of our agenda. That’s what we said we would do since we started this band. It’s all on our terms. We record music to GIVE IT AWAY to you guys, expecting you to support our cause by maybe purchasing merchandise whenever we have such available. These guys obviously think they are the second coming of Christ, just read on… Oh, and by the way, before you losers approach any more bands, make sure you learn how to spell THRASH metal. Cunts.

We wanted to give you a shout and tell you about the new record label 272 Records founded by the creators of Club Fiend (Hollywood, California). We are going to be releasing our 13th special edition compilation record from our Kill City Series called “Kill City Vol. 13 - Cradle To The Grave.” This volume is dedicated only to the worlds heaviest Death Metal, Black Metal and Trash!! You gotta be fucken shitting us. Yeah, as we are turning down record labels we DEFINITELY feel like paying a 130 dollars to be on a fucken compilation. Give us a fucken break.
Just to get this back from the biggest label in the world, 272 Records (that’s right, WHO?):
And then they blocked us and deleted us from their friends list, haha… Damn, now we don’t really know what to do. How the hell are we, as a band, supposed to go on now when we have this sledgehammer of a label declaring we don’t deserve to go anywhere. Damn… They could probably have worked wonders for us, had we only paid to be on their compilation album. We mean, it shouldn’t be more than fair to actually start paying to be on albums we don’t even wanna be on since we give away our music anyways.
We suggest you go to these assholes’ MySpace page and tell them to go fuck themselves, and if they really wanna get some bands for their shitty compilation - do some research before approaching the bands in question.

No, we are not interested in any compilations and having to pay to be on it. No, we are not interested in doing a full length album. No, we are not interested in releasing our demos on your label. The music is there for you to grab - FOR FREE!

Vocals on 3 out of 5 songs done!
Mr. Sandström nailed some vocals last Friday and will hopefully wrap up the recording sessions this coming week. After that it’s time for Mr. Swanö to work his magic for the last demo in thrilogy one and the coming Christmas single. It’s close now…
