We have to give…

A huge fucken extra “thank you so much” to the guys of thrashers F.K.Ãœ. They came to the Getaway Festival gig we did, dressed up in their stage clothes and make-up, did backing vocals, gave the crowd our new demo, poured gallons of blood on us and pulled off an excellent performance together with us that we we will always remember for the rest of our lives. Thanx for making this our best gig so far. Unbelievable. There is a video available (courtesy of Slusk) where you can see these lunatics in all their glory on stage with us. We take the hugest of bows to you and demand that all of you check them out.

Naturally, we can’t thank you enough – all of you showed up for the gig and gave us the biggest support we have ever had. Absolutely amazing. And all of you who made sure we almost sold all of our merch even though they cost shitloads (thanx to some rockstar deciding the prices…). We never thought that would happen.

And thank you to Peter Herneheim who took tons of excellent photos of us, as can be seen in this post. We have uploaded some 50 photos at our MySpace so we suggest you go there and check them out.

Oh, and if anyone’s got photos and/or videos from this gig, please send them to us or at least make us aware of their existence. We would appreciate it very much.

“Evighetens DÃ¥rar III” now released!

Here it is! The last installment in our second trilogy. This is “Evighetens DÃ¥rar III“. Before we continue we have a few things to say about this demo:

First off, once again we wanna thank Dan Swanö at Unisound for continuing to support us and endorse us with these mixes. We give him files that sound like shit and he makes it into what you can hear. We have absolutely no idea how he does it, but it’s safe to say that we wouldn’t sound this fantastic without his magic. We take such a huge bow we almost break our backs. If you play in band and want someone to hand you a killer sound for your product – GIVE IT TO MR. SWANÖ! That’s not a suggestion, it’s a fucken order. You can contact Dan thru his Unisound website at www.unisound.se. Once again, Dan: thank you so much for doing this for us, for believing in our cause and for being the best. You sir are a fucken hero. Thank you.

Second, we have the superstars of Millencollin. These fucken guys approached us and let us know that we were welcome to use their Soundlab Studios if we wanted to. There’s no reason for these guys to be this cool and support Torture Division, but they did – and we can’t thank them enough either. Soundlab is a professional studio with a killer atmosphere where alot of excellent albums have been recorded during the years. We can most definitely recommend you guys to record there if you want a great product with a killer sound. Get in touch with them and make your band step up a notch. We’re so kind that we’re handing out you the link once more: www.myspace.com/soundlabstudios. You guys are ace. Now we just wait for the photos where the guys pimp Torture Division by wearing our shirts. That will give them some cred in the world of metal, haha… Seriously, thanks so much.

Of course we thank Guger for throwing together the cover and everything for this demo as well. Amazing work as always. Now you can take all three of these covers for trilogy 2 and put them next to each other and you’ll have great picture to look at. Also, have you noticed something special about this trilogy? Look close and you might see it.

And we can’t deny the fact that the addition of Raubtier’s madman Hulkoff in the title track really gave the tune a fantastic kick in the nuts. It turned out amazing. Thanx a fucken load for being cool and doing this with us. You should be truly honoured, haha…

We will never be able to thank Marko Saarelainen enough for the work he does with our websites and everything. This guy is the backbone of everything you see when it comes to TD (and few other bands and whatnot related to us) on the Internet. We wouldn’t look as good without him. Get in touch with him if you need some ace looking covers/CD booklets and/or websites. Thanx, sis! You rule.

And last off, not that it has anything to do with this demo but hey… Thanx to Peter “Efil” Andersson who’s doing a fantastic job for us in general when it comes to gigs and whatnot. You are ace, man.

So, here you go… “Evighetens DÃ¥rar III” – the world’s best death metal once again. Do not forget that we truly appreciate any donations you can give us as a “thank you” for giving you free music all the time. We use those donations for future recordings, merch and whatnot, so by donating you help us survive coz we certainly do not make any money off this band – and we never thought we would. But by donating you help us keep this going.

This will most likely be the last demo for this year since we have The Project Hate MCMXCIX and Vomitory albums to record this fall, leaving little room to create something with Torture Division. What we will do though is play live when the chance is given. We have some gigs coming up later on this fall, and we’ll anounce them as soon as they are a 100%.

Just… wow…

What a gig. Getaway Festival really made the right choice when they booked us, haha… We can’t say “thank you” enough to all the fucken people who showed up and who made this evening something incredibly special. You guys gave us such tremendous support, we are still amazed. Unbelievable. We wanna say thanx to everyone who attended the best gig we have done, but a few people need some extra credit; F.K.Ãœ., Peter Andersson. Sophie Linder, Peter Herneheim, Bandit Radio, Slavestate and those we forgot. Thanx to Herneheim we will have some fantastic photos to show you (feast your eyes on the one in this post for now) later this week, and with some luck we might even have some videos later on too.

Again, thank you guys, so much.

A few new rehearsal pictures available!

Yeah, this weekend we had a rehearsal for the upcoming Inferno Festival gig and got some photos taken. Click this link to see some of them. This was the first time we played the new material from “Evighetens dÃ¥rar II” together and we are looking forward to debut these tunes live.

Also, the fantastic Henrik Hedlund of Chaos Media managed to take a load of new promo shots of Torture Division this weekend, something we are extremely thankful for. Henrik is so talented when it comes to photography and having him shoot us (not literally) is an honour. To be the best you have to work with the best – and in this case it goes both ways.
