We have some stuff in the making…

…so you better keep an eye on our forums and at this place, coz quite a bunch of stuff will be announced as soon as we possibly can. You all know that the third demo (the last part in this first trilogy) is on the way, but there’s more shit to come, believe us. If everything goes as planned we think that quite a few of you bastards will be satisifed. Just stick around and spread the word about everything Torture Division in the meantime.

Download the demos in the “Downloadgraphy” section, make copies of them, print the covers, spread them to everyone you know. Also, check the merch section since there are still a few shirts that we wanna get rid of.

A tiny update!

From The Lord: I don’t know if this was told before over at our forums or not, but after some soundcard troubles I’m back on track with the writing for demo 3, almost. Swanö will come over later this week and help out with the final details for the temporary sound of mine (yeah, I’m getting myself a nice new rig in a bit if everything goes as planned, hence the “temporary”). This means I can soon continue the work on the last 2 tracks for demo 3. I listened thru the stuff made for the first time in a week or so and this first completed tune sounds ace and the “Behemoth” track is definitely becoming a monster too. As soon as the sketches of the tunes are done they will be sent to Jörgen and Tobben so they can chip in some of their magnificent arrangement ideas, if they have any. We are planning to get this third demo out this year and after that we got some nice surprises for ya in our torture chamber.

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Fuck that, it’s prolly just more of the world’s best death metal for free!

The process of demo 3 continued!

Check out this thread over at our forums to stay up to date with everything concerning the song writing for the third and final demo in this first trilogy. After working a bit with the 1st song, bouncing ideas back and forth, this one seems to be completed now. Fantastic. There is a reason it goes by the name of Stockholm 1990 as a working title. There’s a fat chance you’ll dig it if you are into Slayer too. Not that it sounds like Slayer, but they also have distorted guitars. Stay tuned in here for the latest news about the process and everything else torturous. We are now going to continue the work on the second track, working title Behemoth, as in the band. Or the fish. We are not completely sure which one just yet.

The first track is done!

That felt great to announce. We just completed the music for track number 1 for our forthcoming demo, the third in this first trilogy. Wow, that was confusing, wasn’t it? We are already hard at work on the second tune as well, hopefully we’ll finish that one up shortly. This third demo will ofcourse include 3 tunes, as you have grown accustomed to after our 2 first demos of the world’s best death metal. As we have mentioned before, we are planning to record this demo in the fall of 2008 and when that is done we’ll ship it to Dan Swanö so he can work his magic with our shit. But there’s still some stuff to do before that happens, writing all of the material is prolly the most important one, yes?

The last part of trilogy one - The process!

Yes, we thought it’d be a good time to tell you that the process of creating material for the last part in the first trilogy has started… J’s sent over some riffs to K for him to work with and K’s already cooked up some stuff that will be used on the next demo. We are not sure when this one will be recorded but we are talking about getting it out before the end of the year anyways. Fall seems like a good time to start recording it…

With endless wrath… We bring upon thee…

What will be the final statement in this first trilogy? You can make some guesses if you feel like it. We have everything planned out for the next recording, the concept, the intensity and the torture. It will be a fine piece of death metal destruction, that’s for sure. All we need now is some time so we can start putting everything together.

The world’s best death metal now enters phase 3.

The guestbook is possessed!

And being possessed is very metal. Just ask the band… eh… Possessed. What we are trying to say with this is that if you haven’t noticed, all the replies in the guestbook actually end up in reversed chronological order. This means you have to scroll down to see the latest reply in case you wrote something and can’t find the fucken eventual reply to it. We always answer anything you wanna ask in there, so now you know.
