So, here it is – the latest Torture Division offering in the shape of “Satan, sprit och våld”. 3 tracks of the finest fucken death metal you’ll ever find, mixed and mastered by our lifetime endorser Dan Swanö at Unisound. We can never thank this hero enough for supporting us and getting us such a great fucken sound time and time again. Now to some serious business – you know we will always give you our music for free. That’s our agenda and all. BUT, if you like what you hear (which you do or you are absolutely retarded), show us some gratitude by donating a dollar or 5 to our PayPal. That’s not asking too fucken much, now is it? Thing is, we use any eventual cash we get in donations for further recordings and merch and whatnot. You don’t have to donate, of course not, but we’d appreciate it coz it helps us big time in keeping this band alive. And hey, buy a shirt while you’re at it. That way you’ll be the coolest kid in church on Sunday wen you sport it in front of your pedophile minister. You don’t like shirts? Then buy a goddamn CD from us. Them bastards are downright excellent, you know.

Hopefully we’ll be faster with the next effort, but sometimes shit happens and it’s not like we do anything according to anyone’s rules but our own. Fucken Dan Swanö is like Ben Johnson on steroids… Wait, that didn’t come out right… 2 days after we handed him the new demo he obviously thought it was about fucken time we got the first mix. Unbelievable. As always it sounds fucken marvelous and Dan’s once again made us shine, as we knew he would. Since we are very, very picky (we play death metal, you know) there are a few things to change which we will do asap. We’re also waiting for the cover to this whole thing to come in so we can’t give you this recording just yet. It will take a little longer. But you have already waited for quite some time, so what’s another week or 2, huh?

We were thinking about giving you the title of this second demo in trilogy 3 but decided to let you wait on that as well. Simply becoz we need something to fill our updates with, you know. But hey, we’re not complete assholes. We have decided to give you a 30 second teaser of what’s to come:

After the successful gig at Metaltown we have now updated the merch section. Click me to get there. Make sure to buy one of these shirts and support what we do. As you know, we depend on merch sales and donations to be able to record our material and give it away for free. If that’s not a great cause to invest in a shirt – then we don’t know what it. And while we are discussing the last gig – if you happen to have any photos (we haven’t seen a single one just yet!) from our domination on stage – please share them with us. Videos would also be cool. We have one right here that we suggest you go see. And while you’re at it – feel free to check out this one as well. We know, it’s 2 different clips of the same song, but one contains the intro too… Or you can go watch Deicide from the same festival. All up to you.

As we have told you before we are now looking into when we’ll record our next demo, part 2 of trilogy 3. There is a chance we’ll take mid-summer off (we might do a gig or 5 if the opportunity comes about) and record this one towards the end of summer, but you never know. We’ll do it as soon as we feel the time is right anyways.

In the meantime, buy a shirt, spread our demos and make sure the torturous message gets out there, ok?

We had a blast despite the incredibly shitty weather. You guys who decided to support us instead of Volbeat (who played at the same time) deserve a huge thanx for making this gig something to remember. Also, thanx to F.K.Ü. for lending us their gear and helping us out so much it’s not even sane. We love you guys. It was a great experience and we can’t wait to get on stage again. Here’s a video clip from the gig. We have a bunch of new shirts of the latest design printed and the merch page will be updated asap. We are also looking into when to record our next demo. The material is ready and we just need to find some time for it during the summer. Stay tuned.

You thought it was nice of us to give you the magnificent cover of Mastodon’s “Iron tusk” a few days ago? Yeah, it was. We like to work you like that. But we aren’t done yet… As always, Torture Division, the world’s best death metal band, gives you a new demo. Three tracks of the best damned death metal you’ll ever find. Nice, huh? Very, very nice we’d say. Can you handle the amazing brutality that is “Vampire empire”, “Through the Eyes of a Dead” and “Clark the Monarch”? A trilogy of death metal supremacy, executed in a way you can only wish to be able to pull off one of these days. Leave it to the pro’s, we don’t mind.

Once again, Dan SwanÃ¶ at www.unisound.se has endorsed us with the mix, giving us a fucken excellent sound that really suits Torture Division. We can’t thank Dan enough for being so fucken cool and helping us out all the time. Make sure to get in touch with him so he can make your band sound better than what it is. Unlike us. We already sound excellent when he gets our shit for the mixing. Dan just gives us a sound that is… eh… making sense. Thanx, Dan. You are a true hero.

With this new demo we also thought it’d be nice if you show us some appreciation and donate a buck or 5 so we can continue to record and release the world’s best death metal. Wanna hear what Mastodon really should sound like?

We thought so, and that’s why we have decided to record a cover of their tune “Iron tusk”. Why this particular song? None of us listens to Mastodon, you know. Well, to make a long story short; this cover was meant to end up on a compilation CD (spanning over albums from the 1990′s to 2011, and we all know Mastodon’s a quality act that people obviously dig, recording a tune by them would give us major exposure to further dominate the world… ehum…), that eventually never saw the light of day – meaning we now give it to you becoz we are absolutely amazing. This is how we would have made this song, had we written it in the first place. But we didn’t, we just thought it would be nice to Mastodon to make a proper tune out of it. Kidding, kidding… Mastodon’s cool. They are no Torture Division, but hey – can’t win them all. Hope you guys enjoy it – we sure did when we recorded it. Ravishing rampage rehearsal.

Here’s a clip of K and Tobben rehearsing “Ravishing rampage sluts” some week ago. J wasn’t there becoz he was busy burning churches and spreading the word of Satan. It’s nothing spectacular (of course it is, it’s fucken Torture Division), but we thought some of you might appreciate a look into the glamorous life of 2 death metal stars. Any eventual playing mistakes are rehearsed as well, to spice things up a little.

Third trilogy update!

J‘s working hard on the lyrics and has come up with some real cool fucken stories this time around. Obviously we put so much work into alot of our stuff – and still it goes unnoticed. It seems like no one’s noticed a special thing about the last trilogy CD actually… We thought it’d be very obvious, but nope, haha… Maybe we shouldn’t care so much about putting in all these small little details since no one catches them anyways – but then again, we really dig doing it and if someone spots them – that’s making it kinda worth the extra effort.

Tobben is real stoked about this new material and I can’t wait to get his drums sometime in January. It’s always a fucken pleasure to put down guitar on his stuff. Then it’s time for J to do bass and vocals. We plan, as mentioned, to have this completed by late January. Hopefully SwanÃ¶ isn’t too swamped with work and can squeeze us in somewhere in his tight schedule. Fuck knows he shits out our productions when he starts working with them. That guy is just fabulous.

Wanna hear “Bring on the corpses”? Ofcourse you do. Obviously you can now listen to it on Spotify. We will also upload Dan SwanÃ¶‘s version of it asap. This version that you’ll hear on Spotify was mixed by the Big Balls Productions guys, but since we recorded it when we did “Evighetens DÃ¥rar II” we have the SwanÃ¶ treatment for it as well.
