Rehearsal video online!
As told over at our forums (fuck you, we are not linking it. You should know it by now) we just rehearsed for the debut gig at www.metaltown.se (fuck you, we are linking this shit) this coming weekend in Gothenburg. We also managed to videotape the whole thing. So, we thought we should share a tune with you from that session so you can see the three Torturers in the flesh, sort of. The sound is decent, we look awesome and we thought that the world’s best death metal on video should actually be shared with you guys - and so we did! You can thank us now. “We bring upon thee” finally available!
As we promised, here is the new demo (check the “discography” page, fucko) - shockful of the world’s best death metal. We wanna thank Dan Swanö for mixing this shit for us, giving it a serious punch in the vagina as far as production goes. We take a bow to you, man. Enjoy this fantastic demo, spread it to everyone you know, hand it over to people who arrange concerts and tell them to book us, throw it at random people in the street - as long as you circulate it we are happy. We are a non-profit band and we like the idea of giving you free music, all legal and shit. All we ask is that you actually take some of yer money and invest it in a t-shirt or 2 from Torture Division. The money we make off our shirts go directly into the recording of our third and final demo in this first trilogy. That’s how we like to work things, you know.
Thanx for supporting The Torture. We hope that all of you die gruesome deaths.

“We bring upon thee” almost done!
Recording-wise that is. Mr. Sandström’s put down bass bass for all three tracks and vocals for 2 of them, which means there’s one more death metal hit to do vocals for and then we’ll ship the damn thing over to Dan Swanö to work his magic. We can guarantee you 3 tracks of the world’s best death metal. If everything goes as planned, this second demo should be available for free to you guys within one or 2 weeks. This is necessary as we are going to play www.metaltown.se as previously announced. We still haven’t been informed if we are going to play on Friday or Saturday, but our wishes is to play Saturday. We’ll let you know as soon as we know. You better not miss this gig coz it’s not that often you get to hear and see the world’s best death metal being performed by your fave band, Torture Division.
Also, the shirts are currently being printed and will be done by next week sometime. You will look beautiful in it, we promise.

Dan Swanö to mix demo 2!
For some reason, our good old friend Dan Swanö (he’s been in a band or 2 during the years and someone said he had a studio as well) will be mixing our forthcoming 2nd demo. You want the title? Sure, you can have that. It will be called “We bring upon thee” and will hold three tracks of eternal torture (also known as “fantastic death metal”). Maybe you want to know about the titles as well? We guess we could hand those out too. In no particular order, the tunes are called “Invoking The Knifer“, “We bring upon thee” and last off, “Terroreyes“. Originally we had planned to have Markus at www.metallfabriken.se mix this one too as he did with the first one, but when Mr. Swanö offered to take a break in his busy schedule and help us with a favor, who are we to fucken argue? We thank Dan for this. Oh yeah, we fucken do. And with this we strike him off the list of people and stuff we need to torture before the end of next week. Lucky Dan.
Vocalist/bassist Jörgen Sandström is about to enter the studio in Stockholm in the coming weeks to put down the final stuff needed (which naturally would be vocals and bass) so hopefully we’ll be able to ship this death metal extravaganza to Swanö shortly so he can make our unlistenable and shitty files listenable for you fuckers. Oh, you wanna see the cover for the next demo as well? Forget about it, you have to wait for that a little longer though we actually have it right here in front of us. But we need to have something for the next news post as well, you know.
Besides this, we also have some more cool news for ya, but as mentioned before we will wait with those until it’s officially cleared.

Fuck yeah, fuck yeah, fuck yeah!
Damn, we didn’t think we would be able to tell you this shit so soon, but here we go. We just signed a 7 album deal with Downloading Is Beautiful Records. Actually, we didn’t. We don’t like record labels and we sure as fuck don’t feel like recording an album at the moment either. But what we actually are in the process of doing is recording our second demo. We know, we know… We have been silent about it. Busy torturing stuff you know, no time for the internet if you do that as a profession. We are sure you fuckers understand. So, here’s the lowdown on all things Torture Division at the moment.
Grindmaster Flesh, aka Golden Spider, aka Tobben Gustafsson recorded his parts for the second demo a few days ago in Karlstad, Sweden. This time we even rented a studio to be able to do things a little bit easier this time around. Instead of 6 channels for the drums we now used 15. Yeah, we know, sounds kinda much for a band like us considering we want to do things low-budget (as in “free”) but the studio was cheap and Tobben didn’t need many minutes to put down his parts. Just so you know, you, the people who actually supported us by buying our latest shirt (go to the forum to order yours, you have until Friday actually) contributed to us being able to rent this studio for the drums. We thank you, and to prove we are kinda thankful, we will ofcourse give you this second, fantastic demo for free as well, as soon as it’s completed.
But hey, that’s not all. The Lord got the drums from Tobben yesterday and we can now reveal that the guitars are recorded too. Yep, that’s how we work this shit called death metal. We s’pose it’s one of the (prolly the only as well) advantages of being death metal veterans and general superheroes). So, that leaves us with 3 fucken excellent blasting’n'grooving tunes of sheer death metal in need of some grunts and bass. And we figured that since we have Mr. Jörgen Sandström on board this ship of torture, he might as well do them on this demo too, huh? That’s the plan and we’ll fucken stick to it. So, when will he do it? He might have done it already, we are not completely sure. If not, this should happen within a week or so.
We need to have this demo completed in a little while becoz of a few reasons actually… Perhaps you have an urge to see 3 handsome muthafuckers on stage sometime soon? Well, let’s not say anything more at the moment since we are waiting for someone else to do the announcement of “where and when” before we do. Keep yer eyes open at this site and over at our forums, 2 places we are sure you can find without us linking to them in this post, ok?
So, is there anything else we would like to share with you concerning this demo? Of course it is… And it’s even some quite fucken cool news if you ask us… But we won’t reveal that yet, we have to have something to use for the next news post from your favourite death metal band, right? We might try to post some pictures from the recording sessions of this second demo later on. Thanx for the support and spread the word of Torture.
