“Evighetens Dårar III” now released!
Here it is! The last installment in our second trilogy. This is “Evighetens Dårar III“. Before we continue we have a few things to say about this demo:
First off, once again we wanna thank Dan Swanö at Unisound for continuing to support us and endorse us with these mixes. We give him files that sound like shit and he makes it into what you can hear. We have absolutely no idea how he does it, but it’s safe to say that we wouldn’t sound this fantastic without his magic. We take such a huge bow we almost break our backs. If you play in band and want someone to hand you a killer sound for your product – GIVE IT TO MR. SWANÖ! That’s not a suggestion, it’s a fucken order. You can contact Dan thru his Unisound website at www.unisound.se. Once again, Dan: thank you so much for doing this for us, for believing in our cause and for being the best. You sir are a fucken hero. Thank you.
Second, we have the superstars of Millencollin. These fucken guys approached us and let us know that we were welcome to use their Soundlab Studios if we wanted to. There’s no reason for these guys to be this cool and support Torture Division, but they did – and we can’t thank them enough either. Soundlab is a professional studio with a killer atmosphere where alot of excellent albums have been recorded during the years. We can most definitely recommend you guys to record there if you want a great product with a killer sound. Get in touch with them and make your band step up a notch. We’re so kind that we’re handing out you the link once more: www.myspace.com/soundlabstudios. You guys are ace. Now we just wait for the photos where the guys pimp Torture Division by wearing our shirts. That will give them some cred in the world of metal, haha… Seriously, thanks so much.
Of course we thank Guger for throwing together the cover and everything for this demo as well. Amazing work as always. Now you can take all three of these covers for trilogy 2 and put them next to each other and you’ll have great picture to look at. Also, have you noticed something special about this trilogy? Look close and you might see it.
And we can’t deny the fact that the addition of Raubtier’s madman Hulkoff in the title track really gave the tune a fantastic kick in the nuts. It turned out amazing. Thanx a fucken load for being cool and doing this with us. You should be truly honoured, haha…
We will never be able to thank Marko Saarelainen enough for the work he does with our websites and everything. This guy is the backbone of everything you see when it comes to TD (and few other bands and whatnot related to us) on the Internet. We wouldn’t look as good without him. Get in touch with him if you need some ace looking covers/CD booklets and/or websites. Thanx, sis! You rule.
And last off, not that it has anything to do with this demo but hey… Thanx to Peter “Efil” Andersson who’s doing a fantastic job for us in general when it comes to gigs and whatnot. You are ace, man.
So, here you go… “Evighetens Dårar III” – the world’s best death metal once again. Do not forget that we truly appreciate any donations you can give us as a “thank you” for giving you free music all the time. We use those donations for future recordings, merch and whatnot, so by donating you help us survive coz we certainly do not make any money off this band – and we never thought we would. But by donating you help us keep this going.
This will most likely be the last demo for this year since we have The Project Hate MCMXCIX and Vomitory albums to record this fall, leaving little room to create something with Torture Division. What we will do though is play live when the chance is given. We have some gigs coming up later on this fall, and we’ll anounce them as soon as they are a 100%.

“Evighetens Dårar II” available now!
We have absolutely no fucken idea what Mr. Dan Swanö eats for breakfast but it can’t be healthy for mere mortals. Yesterday we handed over our shitty sounding files to him and expected a mix in a week or 2. Today he handed over the complete fucken thing for us to worship. We have stated this numerous of times before and we will do it again, and again, and again… We can never thank Dan enough for endorsing us with these mixes, taking time off from his busy schedule to help us out with our agenda to spread the world’s best death metal for free – without us paying him anything but the occasional 30 bucks and free merch. Seriously, we actually gave him half of our bank account for this demo, not becoz he asked for it but becoz we wanted to, that explains how much we earn doing this. Hardly what he deserves, that’s for sure.
Thank you, Dan. Thanks so incredibly fucken much for being one of the coolest sons of bitches in this world, and for helping us shape our sound into the eternal depths of insane brutality. Whatever the fuck that means, but it sure sounded like something a death metal band should say. Maybe not in a news post, more like in a press sheet that is sent to magazines. Fuck that, we don’t need magazines or record labels – we manage all fine as we are.
Well, here you go, “Evighetens Dårar II” – free of charge (we do have a donation page – if you feel we are worthy of your lousy 5 or 10 bucks as a thanx for giving you incredible death metal – USE THE FUCKEN PAYPAL BUTTON and help supporting our cause! Another recording update!
3rd song is nailed guitar-wise. The last one will be done when I feel like it. I spent a total of 12 minutes to lay this one down, including the editing work which is needed before bouncing the guitar tracks, haha… It’s so great to hear the material with Tobben‘s drums instead of the programmings. That guy sure delivers the groove and it’s a fucken joy to put down guitars to it. This tune was the one that will end up on the Big Balls compilation, by the way, which means the last one for “Evighetens dårar II” is still left to do.
Also talked to Swanö yesterday. He’s swamped with work but after he’s gotten the files he’ll squeeze us in when there’s a small break in his mixing duties, like he always does. We love Dan and can’t wait to hear what this will sound like when his work is done. But first things first; J has all of his work left and there’s one more song to do guitars for. Guess you could say we are just excited, haha…
Update later the same day: All the guitars are now done and all that is left is for J to do his stuff, which will happen asap. Here’s a small video clip of the guitars being recorded, in case you are interested.

Cover of “Double barrel remedy” available!
This band, Decadent Youngsters, did a cover of “Double barrel remedy”, and safe to say we are honoured. They did something “own” with it, which is something we appreciate.
