All the tunes completed for demo 3!
We decided to sit down and compose the three last songs for the third demo in this first trilogy, and so we did. You like d-beats, blastbeats, groove, heaviness and full-on death metal - the way only we can create it? You will get it on this demo as well. And you will once again get it for free as soon as we have recorded it at this very site. What we ask of you in return is to buy our new t-shirt (the money will go into our recordings, and the occasional beer/fix, as always). All the titles are set for the coming demo but we’ll wait a while with announcing those. We will once again record the drums in Tobben’s hometown Karlstad (like on the previous 2 demos), the guitars will be tracked in The Lord’s homestudio in Örebro and J will do his bass and vocals in Stockholm. After that it will be shipped to our beloved Dan Swanö for another excellent mix. We can only hope he will provide us with another production as crushing as the one on “We bring upon thee”. But since we know Dan, he’ll prolly make it even more brutal this time around. Anyways, we have set early October as the month when we will start recording this third demo, scheduled for an early November release if everything goes as planned.
Also, it looks like we might have a few gigs coming up but we can’t announce anything just yet since a few things need to be cleared first.
As you can see, alot of shit is happening within our camp and we really look forward to record 3 more tunes of the world’s best death metal.

Merch section updated and some other information!
Yep, seems like people actually understand that the best way to support Torture Division’s cause of giving you free music is to buy a shirt from us. We are still having a bunch of shirts left that we hope to get rid of at the gig this weekend at Metaltown in Gothenburg (the Close Up stage, 14:45-15:30, Saturday, June 28th). If you still haven’t bought yours, you deserve a painful death. If you attend the gig and don’t buy one we will have to shoot you. Save up some cash, be fast in getting a shirt when we play since we are running out of these gems now, and stay tuned for more information about TD’s plans and the final part of the first trilogy in the Torture book.

Rehearsal video online!
As told over at our forums (fuck you, we are not linking it. You should know it by now) we just rehearsed for the debut gig at www.metaltown.se (fuck you, we are linking this shit) this coming weekend in Gothenburg. We also managed to videotape the whole thing. So, we thought we should share a tune with you from that session so you can see the three Torturers in the flesh, sort of. The sound is decent, we look awesome and we thought that the world’s best death metal on video should actually be shared with you guys - and so we did! You can thank us now. Updated merch section!
There’s still some shirts left but we are definitely getting rid of them as we go along. We wanna thank everyone who purchases a shirt and shows their support to Torture Division by doing so. TD plays Metaltown, Saturday, June 28th, 14:45!
Yeah, there’s all the info you need for our debut gig. We will be crushing every living thing in the Close Up tent at the festival area Saturday, June 28th, 14:45. Do not, for the world, miss this. We are very much looking forward to blast our 2 demos (and there might be one or 2 surprises as well in the set) live. See you in Gothenburg in a few weeks. Be there, bring money for a shirt (even if you already bought one - you need yet another one), treat us a few beers after the gig and join in on the madness that will be our first (but not the last - that’s a fucken promise) show.
Oh, and don’t fucken forget to download our second, fantastic demo, “We bring upon thee”. More info as for how to obtain the world’s best death metal is found in the post below. In case you are completely retarded and can’t for your life find the the needed section, which might not be all that surprising, the songs are also added to our MySpace thing now. If you can’t find the way to get there either, well, then you are completely useless and actually don’t deserve to hear them.

Yep, we thought we might as well do the first gig with this band on a festival and obviously we are going to. We haven’t been informed what day we will play, nor what time, just yet, but as soon as we know you’ll be notified in here.

Fuck yeah, fuck yeah, fuck yeah!
Damn, we didn’t think we would be able to tell you this shit so soon, but here we go. We just signed a 7 album deal with Downloading Is Beautiful Records. Actually, we didn’t. We don’t like record labels and we sure as fuck don’t feel like recording an album at the moment either. But what we actually are in the process of doing is recording our second demo. We know, we know… We have been silent about it. Busy torturing stuff you know, no time for the internet if you do that as a profession. We are sure you fuckers understand. So, here’s the lowdown on all things Torture Division at the moment.
Grindmaster Flesh, aka Golden Spider, aka Tobben Gustafsson recorded his parts for the second demo a few days ago in Karlstad, Sweden. This time we even rented a studio to be able to do things a little bit easier this time around. Instead of 6 channels for the drums we now used 15. Yeah, we know, sounds kinda much for a band like us considering we want to do things low-budget (as in “free”) but the studio was cheap and Tobben didn’t need many minutes to put down his parts. Just so you know, you, the people who actually supported us by buying our latest shirt (go to the forum to order yours, you have until Friday actually) contributed to us being able to rent this studio for the drums. We thank you, and to prove we are kinda thankful, we will ofcourse give you this second, fantastic demo for free as well, as soon as it’s completed.
But hey, that’s not all. The Lord got the drums from Tobben yesterday and we can now reveal that the guitars are recorded too. Yep, that’s how we work this shit called death metal. We s’pose it’s one of the (prolly the only as well) advantages of being death metal veterans and general superheroes). So, that leaves us with 3 fucken excellent blasting’n'grooving tunes of sheer death metal in need of some grunts and bass. And we figured that since we have Mr. Jörgen Sandström on board this ship of torture, he might as well do them on this demo too, huh? That’s the plan and we’ll fucken stick to it. So, when will he do it? He might have done it already, we are not completely sure. If not, this should happen within a week or so.
We need to have this demo completed in a little while becoz of a few reasons actually… Perhaps you have an urge to see 3 handsome muthafuckers on stage sometime soon? Well, let’s not say anything more at the moment since we are waiting for someone else to do the announcement of “where and when” before we do. Keep yer eyes open at this site and over at our forums, 2 places we are sure you can find without us linking to them in this post, ok?
So, is there anything else we would like to share with you concerning this demo? Of course it is… And it’s even some quite fucken cool news if you ask us… But we won’t reveal that yet, we have to have something to use for the next news post from your favourite death metal band, right? We might try to post some pictures from the recording sessions of this second demo later on. Thanx for the support and spread the word of Torture.
