Grey Monk Hill Aid – Charity concert feat. Torture Division.

In short, this is a charity concert to help out F.K.Ãœ.‘s Teddy Möller‘s family and those affected by the house fire that took place some month ago. Ofcourse it was a non-brainer to do this gig to support our friend.

Gig at Metallsvenskan 2011 confirmed!
Metallsvenskan is a huge event held in Örebro (musicians play soccer against each other) and we were just confirmed to play it. The first year Hammerfall, Sabaton and some other crap played. This year they had Twisted Sister rounding off the evening. Some info in Swedish here.

Charity shirts sent out, money transferred to Teddy.
Everything is sent out now and we managed to raise over 3600 SEK for Teddy with this shirt (scroll down if you do not know what this is about). I applaud us all.
By the way, do you guys know what it costs to send an XXL or XL shirt (roughly 255 grams in weight) outside of Europe (we had a bunch of these orders even which surprised me)? 90 fucken SEK. That’s like 10 Euros or 13,5 dollars. Completely fucken insane. A little less than a third third of the fucken money went for postage and packing, that is just not right.
Fuck’em, greedy bastards at the postal office of Sweden.

Gig at Rockskallen, Gotland, January 29th, 2011!
Yeah, we will play Jörgen’s native island at January 29th together with bands like Ghost and Fatal Smile. The first gig of the year for Torture Division. We are definitely looking forward to crush the islanders and have a blast while watching some other excellent bands perform. Info in Swedish to be found here.

Third trilogy update!
J‘s working hard on the lyrics and has come up with some real cool fucken stories this time around. Obviously we put so much work into alot of our stuff – and still it goes unnoticed. It seems like no one’s noticed a special thing about the last trilogy CD actually… We thought it’d be very obvious, but nope, haha… Maybe we shouldn’t care so much about putting in all these small little details since no one catches them anyways – but then again, we really dig doing it and if someone spots them – that’s making it kinda worth the extra effort.
Tobben is real stoked about this new material and I can’t wait to get his drums sometime in January. It’s always a fucken pleasure to put down guitar on his stuff. Then it’s time for J to do bass and vocals. We plan, as mentioned, to have this completed by late January. Hopefully Swanö isn’t too swamped with work and can squeeze us in somewhere in his tight schedule. Fuck knows he shits out our productions when he starts working with them. That guy is just fabulous.
