Trilogy number 2…
Now when the new The Project Hate MCMXCIX album is completed and delivered to the label we will finally have more time to start working on new Torture tunes for the 4th demo, the first part of trilogy 2. We already have some riffs cooked up and can’t wait to start putting everything into songs. The plans are to make 3 demos this year as well, and time will tell if we’ll make it or not. One thing we can promise you though – you’ll get new slabs of the world’s best death metal when you least expect it.

CD released!
Yes, our collected discography is now available on CD thru Abyss Records. Look it up there. And no, as we have said a thousand times before; they do not have any exclusive rights to our material which means anyone can release our shit. That’s how we work. All our songs will ofcourse still be available at this site as well, as always.

The Torture in 2009!
You all know we have been busy doing some gigs following up our first trilogy (and the Christmas EP). Next weekend is the third and final gig in a little over a month and after that we are back to composing for the next trilogy. Yes, it will all be available for free on our site as soon as anything’s completed, as always. We already have the concept thought out and it’ll be interesting to see if you notice it somewhere down the line. There’s some riffs and ideas lying around that we can start to work into songs now when we are finished with the planned gigs. The army of three are looking forward to compose some new death metal for all of you and the plans are to get the 2nd trilogy out in 2009. We’ll do our best to make sure that happens.
In the meantime, purchase the CD that Abyss Records are releasing any day now and keep an eye out for the LP on Vic Records.

Torture Division invades and kills Karlstad, Sweden!

We take a bow!
Yes we do, to each and everyone involved in the House Of Metal festival, held in Umeå, Sweden. Petra, Mats and the rest of the gang: You made our gig everything we could ever hope for. But you did not do it without the completely fantastic crowd present. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making this gig the best one in TD’s career so far (and boy is it a long career). So, thank you, House Of Metal. And thank you, you loveable sons and gals of bitches who thrashed yer asses off for us, sang with us and helped us create an insane evening of torture and pain (and tons of smiles).
We have everything filmed and will make it available to you guys as soon as we possibly can. If you happened to be at the show and took some photos (or recorded some videos) – please send them our way at torturedivision@gmail.com. If you wanna see some video footage from the Close Up Boat gig we did some weeks ago, they are available at YouTube, so go search there. If you can’t find them right away, list all videos posted by the user torturedivision and you’ll find them.

Next up is Karlstad in two weeks. A gig we also look forward to alot. You guys really have somehting to prove if you wanna beat Umeå when it comes to showing Torture Division your support. We have faith in you, though.
