House Of Metal here we come!
As we have said for quite some time, the House Of Metal gig tomorrow is somehting we have looked forward to for months. We can’t wait to destroy Umeå, Sweden. and meet the crowd and the festivals extremely professional organisation. If you plan to attend the gig, please record what you can with your cell phone and put it on YouTube or whatever, anything to spread The Torture. Oh, and feel free to send it to us as well for our private collection. See you guys tomorrow evening. We will be back at this site next week with an update and hopefully with some photos to show you from the gig.

Some photos from the Close Up Boat!
Thanx to Peter Herneheim (www.herneheim.se) for sending us these shots (photos 1-8) that he took at the gig. Fantastic photographer and a great guy by default. We hope to work with you again somewhere down the road. Later on you will (maybe) find these pictures in the media section, but for now we thought it’d be nice to give them to you right here at the frontpage. We also wanna thank Thomas from Katrineholm, Sweden, who sent us the remaining photos displayed here:

Thank you all!
We had a fantastic time at the Close Up Boat and wanna thank everyone involved for making it an unforgettable day of death metal and carnage. Naturally Peter Andersson, Sophie Linder and Close Up Magazine’s editor Robban deserves the biggest cheers. Not to forget our fantastic Sillboy of Vicious Art who helped out with pretty much everything at all time. You guys are phenoms.
It was tremendous to see so many people there so early in the day and we can never thank you enough for showing us your support. We take a bow to the heroes creating the pits and to everyone in the front row who did nothing but help us to create a great show and enjoy themselves to the fullest. Thank you people, thank you so much. Also, thanx to Peter Herneheim (www.herneheim.se) who helped us out with some new band photos that we will display at this site asap (you can watch some of them at our MySpace in the meantime if you feel like it), he also took a bunch of live shots that we will post when we get them. In the meantime we are now gearing up for the House Of Metal Festival and the gig in Karlstad. Those 2 events will have a hard time beating what the Close Up Boat did for us, but our expectations are sky rocketing, just so you know, haha…
And now we have a request: If you happened to be on the boat and witnessed this gig… Did you take any photos? Film anything with your mobile phone? If so, please send us everything you have, no matter the quality – we just would love to have it for our private collection. You can send it to torturedivision@gmail.com.
Again, thank you so much for the support and for buying our merch (we sold every single item which we never thought would happen). We’ll leave you for now with a shot that captures the gig quite well, thanx to Peter Herneheim for taking it:

Torture Division LP to see the light of day!
Who fucken releases an LP in these days of 1’s and 0’s? Vic Fucken Records, that’s who. We are extremely happy to announce that our friends at Vic Records begged and begged and begged us to have the honour to release “With endless wrath we bring upon thee our infernal torture” on a good ol’ LP. We can’t say no to that. It’ll be a limited edition, that’s for sure. So, this means we’ll get our three first demos (and the 2008 x-mass single) out on both LP and CD (Abyss Records will release that one, as mentioned before). So, have we abandoned our agenda of giving out the world’s best death metal for free? Fuck no, we’d never do that. We just told Vic Records that they can have exclusive rights to release the material on the LP format (and throw some dough our way to finance a small portion of the next trilogy of demos) since that’s what they wanted, besides that – everything is as it always was. No one owns our music but us. That’s the beauty of it all. Releasedate is April 6th. Get in touch with Vic Records if you wanna obtain a copy of this beautiful death metal masterpiece.
So, look out for both the CD and the LP now, and make sure to buy them to support the cause of Torture Division.
In other news… The Close Up Boat gig is coming up next week and we are really fucken eager to destroy that ship with some brutal fucken death at Friday morning (or mid-day, whatever). Hope to see you guys there.
