New gig confirmed!
Yes, yes… The mighty Division will now visit Karlstad and Metal Clüb for the first time. This is the information that the club itself sent out for everyone to drool upon. Unfortunately it’s in Swedish, so if you are not a Swede (or a Scandinavian with the least knowledge about the Swedish language – tough). Anyways, we are supporting heavy metal band Wolf this evening.
Wolf – Ambitionen från starten 1995 har alltid varit att leverera förstklassig heavy metal och detta gör gruppen med bravur! Med färska plattan ”Ravenous” (release 090225) i bagaget utlovar bandet själva 666% från scenen, slut upp själva för att ge nacken en rejäl omgång!

Torture Division – Med den lokala skinnpiskaren Tobben Gustavsson på trumpallen vet man att det går undan! Att han fortsatt sitt samarbete med Lord K Philipson (gitarr) & de lyckats få med sig Jörgen Sandström (gurgel & bas) i denna trio då vet de flesta fans av death metal att vi snackar kvalité! Snabba blast beats och schysst groove för att plocka ett par rader från deras presentation på myspace säger det rätt bra. Bedömt två tummar upp!

Trilogy 1 to be released on a CD!
“With endless wrath we bring upon thee our infernal torture” will now get an official release thru Abyss Records, located in the US. Why have we accepted this? It’s easy, if they can sell some albums consisting of our three demos (and our x-mas single), good for us and good for them. Good for them coz they will probably make some money off of us. Good for us coz we will get some more attention. Do we make money on this? Not a fucken chance. We haven’t even written a contract for this release. And not only that, Abyss Records own no rights whatsoever to our material or to the actual cd that they will print, and all of this is stated in the booklet (if you can even call it a “booklet”). If you run a label and wants to release this compilation of demos – feel free to do so, just contact us first so we at least know about it.
Yes, this thing will have a brand new cover (kind of) and it’s all been remastered by Dan Swanö, so there’s a small change to the original recordings anyways. If you feel like buying the disc for that reason – go ahead. Ofcourse you can just download the shit from this website when we have put everything up, as always. That’s what we do – we give you the world’s best death metal – free of fucken charge. No matter if a label asks kindly to release what we do “officially”, we will always hand everything out for you for free, just as we planned it from the beginning.
Wait for more information about this release as we go along.

New merch will be available at the upcoming gigs!
Yes, we will have a limited quantity of all our previous shirts when we do the gigs at the Close Up Boat and the House Of Metal festival. And not only that. These 2 shows will also see the light of our brand new 4th design. So make sure to save up some cash and support your fave death metal band when you enter these gigs.

Making ourselves ready for the upcoming gigs!
Oh yes, 2009… another year in the name of Torture. Hope you guys had some nice holidays and all, not that we give a shit but it sounds nice to put it like that. We just thought we should let you know that we are now gearing up for the 2 coming gigs we have booked in February, 2009. Yeah, we know… It’s like 1 and a half month until those happens but it’s always great to have some update from your fave band, right? First off we have the gig at the Close Up Boat coming up. You can find all the details needed at www.closeupmagazine.net but let us just inform you that we play the 13th of February around 13:40. Make sure to be there, drunk and full of hell, and make this gig something we can always remember with a huge smile. After that we go to Umeå, Sweden and the fantastic House Of Metal festival where we will play at the 27th of February. Check out their site to know exactly when we enter the stage coz we aren’t sure about that yet, haha… We are looking forward so much to these 2 gigs it’s not even sane. We might also have a third gig coming up but it’s too early to reveal anything about that right now so just stay tuned.
We ended 2008 with a bang considering we gave you a killer x-mas single and the third chapter in our first trilogy. You can find everything for free download at this site. 2009 will most probably give you trilogy number 2 coz that’s what we are aiming for. More free music in the shape of the world’s best death metal. We know, we know… we are truly fantastic.
So, we are looking forward to see you on at the upcoming gigs. In the meantime; torture each other and have a nice start of the new year. Ok then, have a nice 2009 in its entirety.
