Yes, yes, yes…
We know you wanna hear some fucken material from us. All the 12000 mails confirm that, you know. Actually, it’s only like 2 mails, but don’t tell anyone, we are rockstars and shit, you know. And more seriously. We are bugging drummer/bastard Tobben to get on with the show and sort a studio for his part of the recording, you know. Actually, we are not bugging him so much, but hey, it sounded like we are very driven and shit, you know. Yes, we are actually trying to make everything work asap, you know. Coz, you know, we are fucken dying to get these first 3 songs down, you know. As soon as we know more about the situation, you will know in here, you know.
Some have asked why we declined the record deal for the time being. Well, you know, we just think it’s the right thing to do. It’s pretty unfair to all the bands who struggle for a deal all their career if we just start off recording an album without even putting any effort into getting the actual deal, you know. If you seriously bought that, you are, you know, retarded. We just feel we want to do things our own pace. Build up the incredible hype, you know. Play death metal and shit, you know. We work like that, you know. The plans are to record, first off, these 3 songs, then maybe record another demo with 3 songs, you know. Then a third demo with another 3 tunes. You know, like in the old days. Then when it’s time for the album we’ll re-record all those old demo tracks just to be ending up with the new recordings being way worse than the demos, you know. That’s how it worked in the old days, you know.
We don’t think we will work like that though, you know. But we will take our time before even planning to record an album, if we ever feel like we want to do that. It’s nice to know that the offer is always there. But first, we need to feel each other out (yeah, that sounded really heterosexual) and get the vibe we know we will have, you know.

And the rehearsals have begun!
Kind of anyways, it’s not like we live in the same town or anything, you know. Well, the smackdown is: Drummer/blastermaster Tobben’s been rehearsing by himself to check out the tunes, and he’s very chuffed with how shit sounds. This mean we are like a step closer to do a “real” rehearsal sometime soon. As real as in “not being there all 3 of us” real, but more like “The Lord and Tobben gets drunk and plays Torture Division material in Vomitory’s rehearsal room” real. We are definitely looking forward to this event and we are trying to make it happen asap. As soon as we have more info on the studio debacle thingy, we’ll let you know in here.
Oh, and the 9th of November is coming up. All of The Torture are having a gathering when Vomitory and Vicious Art are playing in Stockholm for VA’s releaseparty. Apparently, Close Up Magazine (some shit magazine from Sweden) are going to take some photos of our beautiful mugs for some article. We were going to take photos anyways, so this is cool with us. Actually, thanx to Close UP for caring. More honestly, it’s about fucken time they cover something worthwhile in between Danko Jones and Nightwish articles.

We’ll be damned!
We were trying to get a date for the recording of the drums when shit fucked up. The studio where this was planned to happen broke down. Not the studio literally, but the actual computers. It all went to hell. It crashed. But this won’t stop us. Hell no. We are already looking into another solution, and if everything works out as we want them to – this other studio will be available to us when we see fit. So, there you go, a small update just to let you know that we are slowly moving forwards to finally start getting these 3 songs down. We will ground’n'pound you like bitches once this demo is done.

What are we doing right now?
Well, we can tell you – that’s what this shit is for anyways, right? You already know that we have been offered a record deal, and declined for the time being since we wanna record a demo first and do everything in our own pace. You also know that this planned demo is going to be recorded asap.
So what’s taking so fucken long?
We are touring Sweden, killing people. And more truthfully, some of us are quite busy with taking care of our newborns and so forth. This is actually quite inspiring though, dealing with actual shit is torture, and that’s what we are about, you know. You could say that we are slowly building up all the aggression and hatred needed to put these coming three tracks on tape. We are trying to get a rehearsal done asap as well. It might turn out to be just The Lord and drummer guru Tobben doing that this first time. Sort of doing it to get a feel for the tunes we have demoed, to see if we need changing anything to make the material even better, faster, more brutal and more… well… torture-ous.
With all the goddamned holidays and shit coming up, not to mention the attention the kids need, we will just plan accordingly and do this as fast as fucken possible. It’s all ready to be recorded, we just need the time for it, which is something we don’t have a hella lot of right now. Hopefully we can can get into the studio before the end of the year, if not… well… 2008 sure will have some good punishment coming.
We plan to have this fucken demo done in early 2008 anyways, but to start recording it sometime soon seems like a swell idea. Vocalist/bassist/demon Jörgen is about to be tought the tunes on bass so he can work his special ingredients into it when the time for recording comes. He already got all the vocals nailed, so that’s not a problem.
In the meantime, go outside, bring your favourite weapon of choice and chop off some heads in the name of torture.

So, we have been offered a record deal!
Without the actual label having heard a single note. That is cool as shit. We are not sure if we wanna do a record just yet though. Feels like we better start off and record the planned 3 track demo that is in the works as soon as the time is right. The songs are done, complete with lyrics and all, so we better get to that sometime soon. And we will. Maybe not soon as in soon, but at least quite.. eh, soon. Hopefully. But you never know, maybe we will take on the offer handed to us and head for an album right away, we’ll see. It just feels good to know that the offer is there, you know.
And now some other related Torture shit… In November (the 9th to be exact), Torture Division will meet up and take some nice photos of us three. Just becoz we thought that.. hey, maybe some bandphotos would be cool. Right? We are also planning to do a “real” photo-shoot sometime soon (we like the word “soon”). This one can most likely turn out quite disturbing if everything goes as we have planned. Maybe we save that idea for the album, if we ever record one. You never now. What we do know though is that we are looking forward to record these 3 first songs as soon as fucken possible. With alot of stuff happening in our lives with our other bands, it’s not completely sure we’ll be able to do it this year, but maybe we can at least start the recordings, and finish them soon. Or… ehum, later. Whatever, if you dig death metal, you will dig what The Torture has to offer, that’s for sure.
